Moi aissi, DD. One full jar and 3/4 of another opened but sealed with a damp cotton ball on top and saran wrap under the lid. Just don't know when I'll get the chance to use it though. Arrrgghhh...

It's too long a story to explain but I'm super pleased to have a couple of tubs of it.

Micro-fill david? Is this a hidden batch you've kept. Its like gold dust in the uk at the moment.

The balsa part duplicates what would be metal on the real plane while the stringers are covered with fabric, just like the real one. The intent is to maintain the look of the actual airplane.

Wow man...you do great work for sure! What was your decision in going that route for covering as opposed to full balsa sheeting like some of your other models? Your FW-190 for instance...

He hasn't sent it yet ;-(. This came with Ed's stuff.

So David, you getting prepped to tackle the Hasagawa Dr.1 next?

I cover with heavy grade silkspan, applied wet and attached with clear nitrate dope. What appears to be sheeting is all the spaces between the stringers filled in with balsa and then sanded and filled with Micro-Fill.

Big engine, no wings...Only slightly less better than small wings. What are you covering with? To my novice eyes it looks like tissue over balsa sheeting.
