The Bloch MB 152C-1 in 1/24th from Dave Diels plan. |

Now I just have to find some sources of 1/24th scale plans. |

Of course building from plans, if I can solve the decal and canopy problem, will allow me to build a lot more WW2 subjects that kits are not available for. |

I thought the canopy was going to be the bggest problem, but was able to use one from a Dave Diels Dauntless. Not perfect but close enough. |

The designer of the Bloch MB 152 was Marcel Bloch who as a French resistance fighter during the war had the code name 'Dassault'. After the war Bloch changed his name to Dassault and founded the famous French aircraft company Dassault. |

The after market decals seemed to be on the small side until research showed that a number of Bloch 152s carried extremely small roundels. The emblem is of GC III/6. The 12 in the white circle on the fin denotes the 12th aircraft. |

Polly Scale acrylic French colors heavily lightened with white has paint has been added followed by a coat of Future to provide a glossy surface for the decals. |
