So this is one of the first Dassault aircraft... Very interesting, looking forwards to more of these plan-built ones Jerry.

The Bloch MB 152C-1 in 1/24th from Dave Diels plan.

Now I just have to find some sources of 1/24th scale plans.

Of course building from plans, if I can solve the decal and canopy problem, will allow me to build a lot more WW2 subjects that kits are not available for.

I thought the canopy was going to be the bggest problem, but was able to use one from a Dave Diels Dauntless. Not perfect but close enough.

While it had its frustrations it was a good eperience and I intend to do it again.

The designer of the Bloch MB 152 was Marcel Bloch who as a French resistance fighter during the war had the code name 'Dassault'. After the war Bloch changed his name to Dassault and founded the famous French aircraft company Dassault.

The after market decals seemed to be on the small side until research showed that a number of Bloch 152s carried extremely small roundels. The emblem is of GC III/6. The 12 in the white circle on the fin denotes the 12th aircraft.

Polly Scale acrylic French colors heavily lightened with white has paint has been added followed by a coat of Future to provide a glossy surface for the decals.

From this angle it looks like a P-40 with a radial engine. Great work Jerry.
