I did not consider it... just been thinking about the covering and how I am going to paint it. I want to airbrush it. As it turns out my neighbor was kind enough to give me an airbrush, practically new!! So all I need is an air supply and I'll be set.
As far as the tail wheel... anyone have any suggestions on where to start (pakasit1812?) materials, etc. I do plan on trying to fly her. Can it be made removable... I believe it was a retractable wheel but not completely sure. I have looked at a lot of pictures of Spitfires and some show the main landing gear up but the tail wheel is not??? |

Do you plan to replace the tail skid with a scale wheel?
Yes, such a nice airframe deserves it. |

That is a soft introduction to scratch building where quality of each single piece is your own hand drawn and hand cut.
But burns time. |

The wood was poorly die-cut... had to make a lot of my own parts...

Good day everyone! I am considering air brushing my Spitfire (as well as some of my other projects) and since I have not used or owned an airbrush/compressor in at least 25 years and am probably out of the loop. I was wondering if anyone could suggest some equipment, paints, etc.
Thank you,
Dave |

Yes! There is a Santa... Found this under the tree. Woohoo! The only problem is I keep getting more kits and less and less time to build. |
