Bill P... The "little fella" no longer needs a saddle as he has a place to sit. The wing root is in the hands of the molecules.

Looking to initially build a D-III similar to this W/O the full upper wing. Wing roots only. When everything is detailed and painted I will mount the wings.
John M Oshust, Image # 2198602 Apr 11 18:56

Tomorrow I will spend the hours aligning the wing root, fuse. and tail.
John M Oshust, Image # 2198502 Apr 11 18:54

Constructed a wing root today. The plan....build the fuse with wung root and LG. Similar to the real D-III construction.

Jasta a couple of Iron Crosses and you can paint it any way you care to.

Quite a bit of metal in the feathers

Yikes stripes....again!

Liking it simple yet effective!

Jasta 4.

Graphically.....just the tip of the iceberg. I shall probably do a what if I were a pilot or a hybrid of two or more originals.

Whoa..these are ALL slick. I vote for Jasta 22...looks more menacing.

A D-III or D-IIIa...decisions. Color schemes....umlimited!

Steve... great powers of observation. Though I noticed the worker precariously perched atop the bench, I did not notice that he was tipping the bench off of the floor.

And no OSHA to fine the guy that is about to tip his bench over.
John M Oshust, Image # 2196831 Mar 11 15:43

The happy Pfalz workers make this look easy.
John M Oshust, Image # 2196731 Mar 11 15:42

Definitely the most tedious fuse I have constructed to date. Like when I hit myself in the head with a 2x4...feels good when I stop!
John M Oshust, Image # 2196631 Mar 11 15:40

When one consideres when the Pfalz was designed, the shape of the fuse is pretty amazing.

Very happy to have this roughed out. Now to sand, seal, fill, and prime.
