As one can see, the non-union Pfalz workers did some fine sheeting! |

Whether I decide to plank or sheet the fuse the stringers I have assed will help. I have not decided...plank.....sheet.... ?? My mini lumber yard has an abundance of sheets. Regardless to my covering method , I first must build the details for a pit and install them. |

Waiting for weather that permits outside photos w/o destroying the Tripe. The Tripe also needs a coat of dull Krylon type sealer. |

Is the Tripe finished? I musta missed baby pics. |

Produced using the " Wickelrumpf " technique, the fuselage was made by wrapping and gluing thin layers of plywood around a mold. This led to a strong smooth and light monocoque structure which was then covered in fabric. |

Non union Pfalz workers tend to their task. We are back in construction here also, even though the finals for the Tripe are not completed. |

The Pfalz fuse frame as per plan. |
John M Oshust, Image # 21839 | 24 Mar 11 17:09 |
The fuse of the Pfalz will be planked with 3/32 X 3/8 planks. The planks are affixed to the formers like planks in a boat hull. I added 4 stringers to prevent my klutz digits from doing damage during planking....I hope! |
