100 meters is approx. 330 feet. 3.3 feet is equal to 1 meter. Quite simple to use, but frustrating to convert.

thinking about sawing it off at 36 inches. Metric was invented to confuse me. 100 yards is a 9 iron. 100 meters?

No, it must be a meter stick. A meter stick can hold a yard, but a yardstick cannot hold a meter!
