| The pitot was made with 1/16" AL tubing. Into the end I inserted and CAed a piece of music wire allowing it to extend out about 3/16". Using Testors Contour Putty and my fingers I fashioned the rough shape. When thoroughly dry, used an emery board to sand down the final profile. Two coats of clear nail polish to seal and a coat of AL paint. The fin is a tiny piece of AL flashing. |

| The "pipes" on the wing look pretty mean. >:-) Are those aluminum tube stock? This P-40 is looking awsome John. Those wing fillets really turned out great too. |
