| It is similar to balsa with low density, straight tight grain and fine texture. Imported from Malaysia, Borneo, Sumatra and Thailand. Great to carve with. |

| This is a vintage kit probabely from the very early 50's. Interestingly it was produced by Western Coil & Electric Co. out of Racine, Wisc. |
