Nothing like aluminum paint to show up all flaws. There are none in Ted's craftsmanship.

Poppy is fooling.. He will turn this UGLY DUCKLING into a real nice model. There is much work to be done at this stage of he build. Surface prep, filling and painting of all the sub assemblies before the final assembly and detailing. I am very happy that Poppy is doing this work as I just like to make sawdust :-).

More details. Words cannot describe how happy I am to have this model for my collection. I only hope I can finish it to the level of Ted's craftsmanship. Overall silver with an olive drab anti-glare panel.

The stabs. and trim tabs are separate pieces. Check out the tailwheel strut. There was no balsa used in this build.
