Note: only had this problem on 2 wing ribs. |

After sanding the leading edge and trailing edge i found that i had the problem noted by Mr Wilson. add balsa and sand down to shape |

this part should add strenght and stabillity to the wing vhere the aileron are cut out. |

started work on the ailerons, making parts first and then drawing them on the plan |

Thank you for the tip, but my plan was to sand the leading and trailing edge to shape. I use 2,5 millimeter balsa sheet, and that is a bit to work with. Glad my Build interest other builders, and all hints and tips are of good help! |

make sure the `rib fronts` and the `rib backs` touch the edge of the wing. that would be a challenge freehanding the ribs. youu`re going to have to come up with a better way. I look forward to seeing your progress. :) |

Progress on the wing, the wing ribs turned out good after a little sanding. Going to build the wings and fuselage to se how it fits together and find out what needs to be changed. |

i think i might have to find another way to make the wing ribs, not sure if free hand drawing them was a good idea.. |
Anders, Image # 27772 | 04 Nov 12 16:38 |
started construction of wings to see if i need to change anything on the plan |

found pictures using google. fuselage formers are drawn from a 3 side pic with sections of fuselage and wing shown. but the airfoils are hand drawn by me, only the one nearest the wing tip are finished. a lot of challenges here as this is my first plan i have ever tried to make! |

Sig manufacturing was the only kit I ever found for this "flying pencil" build. On ebay years ago, but would not fit the budget. Many scale versions in plastic for the cheap but I stopped plastic builds long ago. Anxious to follow this build. |
