OH,, I see what your describing. Did you clean the surface? It looks like the surface might have some oil contamination or mold release. Try wiping it down with rubbing alcohol on a Q Tip. It does indeed look like frost and snow. |

Hey Brian, I can't see any blotches and it looks like a nice smooth coat of paint to me. A couple of things about "blotches".. paint not mixed well or your not keeping the airbrush a constant distance away from the subject. if you get to close it will sometimes cause blotches. Let it dry a couple of days and "shoot" another coat of paint |

i'm airbrushing tamiya acrylic paint in my basement. it's alittle below 60 degrees. the finish has blotches. is this a result of it being to cold to paint? |
