Looks good Rhys. You even put a rudder panel line on there, nice. I personally don't mind the swastika's on my models. They are part of history, and we are modelling historical things. This is probably a bit too controversial, but changing the swastika for something else, is like trying to hide the truth to me. What happened was terrible, but trying to bury it and pretend it didn't happen doesn't seem right either. |

i have finished 1 side of the verticle stabilizer. i don't like the swastica on it very much. i would take it off and not put it on but realized this right after i put it on and it is not worth taking off |

i bought colored tissue the other day and i have decided to make it all green. ihave 1 side of the stabilizer and the verticle stabilizer almost done. they are just drying now because i put the mix of water and glue on it. |

here is what it looks like with the canopy on and the machine gun made from scrap balsa hanging out in the back |
rhysleo, Image # 12856 | 19 Jun 09 10:25 |
for the joystick, i cut a stringer, and then cut out 2 squares from scrap balsa and glued them on the stringer. then colored it brown |
rhysleo, Image # 12855 | 19 Jun 09 10:22 |
i colored a rectangular piece of paper brown, laminated it, and glued it on. |

since this will probably be too heavy, then i am going to keep it as a shelf model and make it look cooler with added things inside the canopy. |
