I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Thanks guys. Got a few more things to go before props and antennas (antenna?). Interesting that props are the only plastic in the kit.

First coat. Only the first few delivered in '44 were OD.

Here's what I mean.

Thanks Mr. Good. I thought about that, but the fuselage is kind of dirty and the filler needs to be covered.

Don - I also love that standout, striking, eye-catching, unique wood grain of different trees, of a rare kit. I would like to build a "Wood Purist" model some day, but I have always wondered how the body filler would take the stain ... I built my Jap Rufe with wood stains and infill planking and sheeting with no filler - took a very, very long time though. But, everyone is free to build a beautiful model in their own distinctive style. I'm sure it will be a head - turner.

I love this "very wooden" model - seems a shame to put paint on all that super grain. Very very nice one Don!

Flaps too. Just about ready for the paint shop. Gear doors tomorrow.

Starting to look like it should. The new canopy material came yesterday. Something will have to wait.
