| here is the balsa exhaust collection ring I made in its rough stage. Drilling it out for the insertion of these sleeves did some damage. Once I had the sleeves inserted and positioned properly, adhesive was applied to the inside of the ring at each position. Then filler was used to address the damage to the outside. I rolled a small length of 100 grit sandpaper and flattened it on one side to be able to sand around the bases of the sleeves. |

span is about 33"
she's 9" tall
length is 20"
somehow it seems to take up more space than that.. |

| I like the drawings you found! thank you for including them with the kit.
Beginning with the Grumman Bearcat the blue used was much lighter than current. It seems to have changed (always darker) a few times since then. I remember seeing them in the F4's and A4's at Miramar and it was somewhere in the middle..but try to find any listing, or timeline - or the RLM numbers for the different blues seems impossible. |
