Upper landing gear strut and shock absorber installation. A toothpick is used instead of the wire called for and is CA'd to the axle.

Bottom of wing in 2 sections, top in 3 and you can see the top didn't work perfectly but it's no problem to re-cover those parts.

The plans don't say and the gear may be suposed to be installed on the front of F 3. Too late now. Wood added to gear makes it easier to cover.
