Was this done with EZ-Dope? If so, how did it work. It looks like it covered well. |

I think some people have tried using glue stick on the wood to hold the tissue down and then EZ-Dope over the top. I can see that working, but Im comfortable with the way I do it. |

One think I like with EZ-Dope is that is it basically non-toxic, so I use my fingers and hands a lot to smooth out surface. It does coat your hands over time, but it scrubs off. Like pouring white Elmers glue on your hands and letting it dry! |

EZ-DOPE applies like regular dope, but I think it a lot. 1:2 (dope to water). I first dampen the tissue, place it on the model, then go it with a brush and dope. I only put the dope on the areas where the tissue touches wood. I continue to work the tissue until all the wrinkles are gone then let everything dry. Since the tissue is wet, it will shrink when it dries and give a tight surface. After that I apply many coats of the thinned EZ-Dope over all the tissue, letting each one dry, until the tissue doesnt wrinkle anymore. |

I dont think regular dope goes bad as long as it is kept in an airtight container and isnt thick or hard. |
