Classic Fighters Easter airshow, Blenheim, New Zealand this weekend. FW190 casually pulls up beside me - I'm in heaven ! |

Somehow "Good night, Mrs. Calabash" jumps in my head. Excellent blend in. |

Dyslexia appeal week :)- Moos, the wing ribs were all trimmed down by the thickness of the balsa sheeting prior to assembling the wing. The nacelles fit pretty much perfectly. |

Mod? |

Some serious mood going on here. Is the sheeting of the wings going to affect the fitting of the nacelles? |

Wings skinned, nose chopped (will be the fighter bomber) and looking more like a Ju88 ! |

Lovely Juvely. |

Looking sweet. The only problems I encountered on this bird was the tail wheel construction and the fitting of the rear plastic fairing. Other than that, this was a great kit to construct. |

Mossie madness, stringers for Africa. Front former area of the fuse is due for a haircut at some stage to represent the shorter set up on the FB model. |

Aren't you glad the likes of DD and co introduced us to the joys of filling the gaps with balsa and then, sand, Sand, SAND - fill and SAND AGAIN!!!! Look great. |

Actually this balsa is qood quality, much better than that supplied in the newer kits. The kit was bought as a basket case (plans fell aprt in my hands) but nearly all of it is there and I do love Mosquitos ! |

No breaks for you huh Nigel? That kit has got to be old. Is the balsa hard to work with? |
