Hello Poppy, Great looking 38. Why did you stop flying. Such great models serve to get the younger crowd interested.

Very Nice!!!!

Moostang51, you can also use Modelmaster acrylic aluminum. It gives a slightly brighter appearance. I used it on the bottom of this one which worked well since undersides do not fade as bad as top.

Tamaya Aluminum acrylic, airbrushed. I use 2 parts paint, 1 part thinner.

Poppy, what type of paint and application was used for this bird?

Fantastic can't believe some of the cockpit details you and John "O" and others are able to achieve!!!!!!!!!

Final finish will show almost 0 grain and no cracks.

That's a lot of infill wood. It looks great.

Your pics are fine. This is fascinating, the only time I ever tried it was on the P 47 in this series. It's still the only time.

Thanks loads, simpleflyer. I am getting better at build pics. I will update as work progresses. It will be a while before panel lines. And it rained on my 4th parade but enjoyed anyway.

Looks really good already. Don't forget when it's time for your panel lines, a little walk through with photos would be appreciated. Thanks.

Looks good, Poppy, and have a good 4th. To add to your selections: Go to home page - click on 'settings' in the main menu - when you get to settings, click on 'aircraft' in the blue bar - this brings you to a page with available aircraft on the left and your a/c list on the right - click on the bars between the boxes to either remove or add a model to 'your a/c list' after making the selection of what you want moved.

Can anyone refresh my memory on how to add appropriate kit to my selections? Would be much appreciated. Thanks.
