TJH, It's a lovely tiny Chipmunk. Could you give me her total weight with rubber band? Thanks for sharing.

Happy Belated Easter to all! I was able to fly the Chipmunk this weekend however it was a little too breezy and stayed with short safe flights, hence no pictures. She looks like a good flyer!

Thank you all! Compliments from builders of your caliber are flattering indeed! Since I signed on this site last year I enjoy seeing all levels of this hobby. If I can get my planes to fly half as well as scigs30, I will be quite pleased!

This well made little beauty proves what can be done with these small kits. The colors here are quite pleasing and the chipmunk on the tail is perfect. This is probably as simple a design as an airplane can have but it's always nice to see one.

Thank you. I was inspired by your work on this kit! Just waiting for this PA weather to get a little more flying-friendly.

Structurally, it is an over-blown dimer, but it doesn't qualify under the strict definition. It's too big (16" is maximum dimer span.) and the kit is post 1942. Built straight this one can be a very satisfying flier.

A little more expensive than my Cherokee. Would this now qualify for "dime scale"? :-)
