Roger, that is correct. I rounded the leading edges before attaching the ribs. It seemed simpler, and it worked OK for me.

Hi, I'm just starting this build, and I've been studying both yours and David Duckett's build threads - you've both done outstanding jobs. Unfortunately, the instructions don't say when to shape the leading edge. The only mention of sanding is after all the ribs in place. From your comment above, it sounds as if you shaped it before you glued all the ribs on(?). I'd appreciate it if you could confirm. Thanks, Roger. |
