Fliegerhorst, I used Tamiya Aluminum acrylic paint. I have also used Painter's Touch by Rustoleum on some of my wood models with success. It comes in many colors.

Great job on the Vibrator! What did you use for the silver paint?? I Am trying to scratch build a B-36 in 1/48 scale.

Poppy, You are very welcome. Just let me add that when you picked this model up it DID NOT look as nice as you have made it. The addition of all your craftsmanship of super detailing has really turned my UGLY DUCKLING into your work of art I agree with DD's comments JFB!!

My sincere thanks to frwyflyer(Ted Richards)for constructing this beautiful model for me. My additions pale in comparison to his wonderful craftsmanship. My collection has been incredibly enhanced by this model and David Duckett's amazing F4 Phantom.

Nylon gray thread. Doesn't droop in moisture. Pre-drilled holes in fin, king post and fuselage. I used white glue to attach. Starting at fin, let dry for 30 min., then added beads and looped thru king post tightening and gluing using masking tape attaching loose end to fuselage, again 30 min. dry., then threaded loose end thru beads on king post, added bead for fuselage connection, and after cutting loose end to about 1/4" from pre-drilled hole in fuselage, glued using a toothpick to insert in hole. Slide beads into position and glued in place. Hope this is clear enough.

Poppy, what did you use for antenna wire, and how to you get it to stay so tight?
