If using spray paint, this does not apply. If using acrylic use something known as dry brush technique. Paint the initial coat using as little paint as you can. Very thin coats dry very quickly. Continue using thin coats until the color is pure, allowing each coat to dry completely.

Always start with a new blade for masking work. Cut the tape where you marked it and peel the excess away.

Use a pencil to outline the area to remain masked. A pencil will seek its lowest point by itself so the outline will be what the mold is. Do this gently, sketching lightly instead of forcefully.
