I’m using copper because it can be soldered easily, and I’m not worried about weight. The diameter is a little thinking than scale, but I also needed something that would hold the model. All the struts have a 1/16” bamboo skewer as a base. I thought that 1/16” balsa wouldn’t be strong enough to hold up the model, based in the ever increasing weight. |
