Trimmed down. I'm also adding Carbon Fiber cap strips (1/16 x .008") to the diagonal ribs to stiffen up the VERY thin airfoil. Flutter is NOT good!!

The large Carbon tube is left long for now. This unit will be something like a cartridge that will be removable from the fuselage...well...because the servos are mounted inverted. A hatch on the bottom for access isn't really a good idea with no landing gear!!

The larger tube I made from "Carbon Sleeve" fabric molded around a 5mm rod. The little spring just pushes the Bellcranks out into position. Titanium spring (I just happened to have some, so what the heck ;o ).

Parts. The side plates will be profiled after everything is test assembled. I wish to be able to disassemble the whole thing later to help facilitate repairs. In the past I've built all the radio gear and "Monkey Motion" into the model permanently and regretted it later.

Rough Bellcranks. I will reinforce the disc mount with wrapped carbon tow to create fillets.

Since all my machines are still in the US I have to roll with what I have. Cordless drill and a Dremel. This is my substitute Lathe. HaHa

"Monkey Motion". Although I have computer design software, figuring out geometries is pretty darn fun this way too. The green pins are stationary hinge points and the yellow are move. #1 is the push-rod from the servo. #2 is the Bellcrank and #3 in the connecting rod to the wing pin, The crosshatch area is the movement I am after.
