The bevels are switched on alternating strips. I made some planks that were over 20 inches long for the P-47. |

Here is the angle achieved for the planking. BTW, depending on how big of radius the former has, you can strip the balsa up to 3/8" wide. The piece shown is about 3/16" wide. |

Anyway: Hot-glues a piece of 1/8" X 1/4" to the base of the balsa stripper. |

Business end. Tried to get the shape of the cowl right. Suprisingly, I could find very few pics looking directly into the cowl that would help with the shaping of the cowl. Motor mount out of 1/8" lite-ply. |
