| LASTWOODSMAN | SIG Cabinaire | Parked | 10-Jun-17 18:51 |  | | Views : 229 | | Also, the stab has a small 1/16" tiny square block of balsa glued to the underside at the rear where it sits on the fuse (as per plan), to give a positive incidence (decalage?), to the stab, (the rear of the stab is higher than the front of the stab), to help the plane climb - it is also helpful to launch the plane on an upward angle. |

The left thrust from the shim plate seems to counteract the right turn from the rudder and the prop torque, giving a straight flight during initial power burst, after which the prop slows down, (and eventually stops), giving a nice right turn later in the fllight from the rudder offset. |
