Also, the stab has a small 1/16" tiny square block of balsa glued to the underside at the rear where it sits on the fuse (as per plan), to give a positive incidence (decalage?), to the stab, (the rear of the stab is higher than the front of the stab), to help the plane climb - it is also helpful to launch the plane on an upward angle.

I had to build in some left thrust, in addition to the downthrust, on the thin balsa shim plate, between the noseblock and foreward fuse former. The left thrust from the shim plate seems to counteract the right turn from the rudder and the prop torque, giving a straight flight during initial power burst, after which the prop slows down, (and eventually stops), giving a nice right turn later in the fllight from the rudder offset.

Wound up 450 turns and ready to go. This Sig 22" "Cabinaire" is all "trimmed out", with no tabs on the wings, stab, or rudder. The rudder has been glued with the slightest offset for a right turn.

After two weeks of patient daily thin coats of rattle can Krylon clear gloss, I have no globs or runs of clear - better quit while I am ahead ... Onwards to prop hub drawings and experiments ... on the practise Axial prop I mixed a little golden oak in with the "natural" stain - I call that prop "WORMWOOD" because of all the round head pin holes all over it ...

Thanks mlriley and Bsadonkill, for the tips. I think I finally got the 22" Cabinaire all "trimmed out'! I built some left thrust into the downthrust shim plate between the noseblock and forward fuse former, as per Bsadonkill's suggestion, and I am getting consistent perfect right turn circles in 7 mph wind, with 360 winds of 4 strands of 1/8" rubber, stretch wound with a winding stooge, with flights of 10-15 seconds! I just can't wait for a calm day when I can try 600 winds with new, stretched and broken in, and lubed rubber!
