Looking North East over the 836 freeway, across Biscayne Bay. |

James...Can you see what the camera sees as you fly to compose these photos, or is it just a blind shot? |

Hey John, it's a blind shot. I control the shutter from the transmitter, but it's a lot of guess work and good luck to get a good shot. The camera goes up there with a Gig of memory to use, so I can take many many shots, and some will be OK! |

I take it you remove the "shutter release" button and replace it with a relay controlled from a channel of the radio? That's a pretty good plane if it can carry that kind of payload. Looks like you managed to find about the only sunny spot around the area too. |

Actually, no, I don't use a servo. It's a small infrared remote release which hooks directly into the aircraft's receiver and listens on one of the channels. So, no mechanical adjustments to go wrong and help miss a great shot! |

Oh, I get it. The camera is manufactured with a built in IR receiver for remote control. |

I think I have printed most all of your pics. When I show them to friends and relatives, they cannot believe these came from a model airplane!! This is a fabulous way to show what an art building and flying model planes really is. As Ed Sullivan would say,"This is really, really good!" |

Thank you very much for the kinds words Poppy. |
