Obviusly pilot error was involved, but in my defense there was an issue with the wind blowing my off track then I couldn't seem to get power or lift enough to avoid the oak tree. SteveM 09-May-08 15:07 Shortly after I realized my plane was not coming down the 9am retiree gas crowd showed up, some pilots having flown longer than I have been alive. So you can imagine me having to point out my plane to a group of several of them. Turns out there is a guy that will retrieve planes from trees for $50. I hope he can get mine down before the wind blows it down onto the road below. Any one of a number of electronic components in the plane are worth $50, I even have my watt-meter up there.
