Who would have "thunk" A dollar motorcycle, $.50 per tire...economical!
John M Oshust, Image # 433003 Sep 07 16:54

When I make the "skirts" the wheels will look fine.

I started today's adventure wanting to cover the pit.... the motorcycle wheels distracted me.
John M Oshust, Image # 432803 Sep 07 16:51

Jazzed the rims up a bit. I hope to make the wheel skirts/flaps tomorrow. The shock boot is from a flex drinking straw.

Retractable gear would blow my micro chip on this build. We settled for removable gear....slip on the the coffee table, slip off for hanging.

I am an ex Chem/physics teacher. I went to NJIT for a master's in....ugh...physics! When I finally build one of these to fly, mass, not detail will be of primary concern.

Regarding mass mot being a concern, apparently with that glass finish, the coefficient of friction was. My brother is a high school assistant principal, advanced placement chem teacher. I went to college for civil engineering. I became a Union General Carpenter Foreman and end up building wood planes. Go figure.

Mass was not a consern, destined to fly display duty!

Thanks, my friend, but at least I can say I have done it. Do I have it as smooth as a baby's rear?
