Jazzed the rims up a bit. I hope to make the wheel skirts/flaps tomorrow. The shock boot is from a flex drinking straw. |

Retractable gear would blow my micro chip on this build. We settled for removable gear....slip on the the coffee table, slip off for hanging. |

I am an ex Chem/physics teacher. I went to NJIT for a master's in....ugh...physics! When I finally build one of these to fly, mass, not detail will be of primary concern. |

Regarding mass mot being a concern, apparently with that glass finish, the coefficient of friction was. My brother is a high school assistant principal, advanced placement chem teacher. I went to college for civil engineering. I became a Union General Carpenter Foreman and end up building wood planes. Go figure. |

"Tanks",this stage hasplaced me in an in between stage. I wanted the plane to look "stressed"! Now I will refine it smoother, then hit her with a small hammer. Dammm Microfill! |
