pfinn, Comment for image # 12772 | 12 Jun 09 19:42 | Hello scigs30. Beautiful work. I've read a little about the "Pre-shrinking" of tissue. What are the benefits if I may inquire? And is the tissue double-stick taped to the frame? Great idea. Phil. |
scigs30, Image # 12772 | 12 Jun 09 14:37 | Some basic tools for covering. Elmers and water to attatch tissue. Surgical blades. Picture frame to pre shrink the tissue. Aerogloss Dope for sealing the tissue. |

scigs30, Image # 12766 | 12 Jun 09 14:33 | After my glue stick fiasco, I took off all the covering and re applied with 50/50 Elmers and Water. I then brushed two coats of Aerogloss Dope. |

scigs30, Image # 12605 | 01 Jun 09 00:00 | Well I tried using a glue stick for the first time, and the covering did not come out very good. It lifted and wrinkled pretty bad so I removed all the covering and started over using my traditional method of 50/50 Elmers and water. Now the covering is without wrinkles. |
