When you eactly follow decal instructions, making and applying really isn't too bad. |

Yes, problem is one has to be sure they give them PLENTY of time dry, both after printing and the fixer. |

I have had a lot of help from learned individuals at this site. For this, I am very thankful. I never really could stand the skinny wheels...a little push and "fatties" appeared! |

It's always great to watch a great scratch build come together. Thanks for posting it and letting us follow along with the steps and decisions involved. Also, nice to see some tires on those wheels. I was beginning to think that the rumors of the Russians putting locomotive drivers on some of their aircraft were true. |

My son will be surprised to find that two tires and rims from his Dodge pick-up model are now part of the Mig 2.95! |

Following advice from Mater model builders, the atenna mast is 3/4 inch shorter and the wheels are "FAT!" |

James, Not all Migs were radio equipped which is why many do not have atennas in the photographs. Anyway this is not a full Mig 3....only a Mig 2.95! |

Looking very authentic and Russian here. Looks great John. I notice those reference aircraft you posted pictures of didn't have the big aerial. Which version have this?

Mixing not required as I have found a can of spray. A roll of masking tape and 1.5 hrs of time to mask, I am waiting for the paint to dry. |

I guess, all my photos show the mast about as tall as the vertical stab. Any way, I like the way it looks. New high performance long distance radio!! |
