I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Hey, I appreciate all of you help! Is it required to plug both connectors in? I charged it early this morning (and I changed it to 1.3a) and the charger stopped charging when it was full.

The battery is a Thunder Power which uses a different pin spacing of 2mm versus 2.2mm on the charger.

No, the battery shown does not appear to have a self balance feature built in.

Can you get a post a picture of the plug end, and also the charger ports please. That plug should fit in there.

The first video was great. Also, even though I have a second connector coming out of the battery, it won't connect to any of the other plugs on the charger due to the size. Does that mean the battery has a self balancer inside?

It has a auto shut off timer of 120 minutes, or when the battery is full, or if there is an error. It will tell you on the screen which it was.

1350mas = 1.35 amps, so you need to change it to 1.3A

I have the same charger, excellent unit. But you need to select the "balance feature" and plug in the balance leads to the charger as well. You need to balance charge these puppy's, by only charging it, you will not properly balance the charge between the cells and eventually destroy your battery. The "charge" function is designed for those battery's that have a built in self balance feature. When you see the other wires and small plug coming out of th battery, that is a balance lead that you need to plug in as well. If there was no set of wires like that, then it should have a self balancer inside itself, and will mention so on the battery label. You also need to set it so that the .A + the same capacity as your battery is. Therefore in this instance you need to set it to 1.3A, and the @S (7.4) is correct. If you later charge a different battery you have to changes these setting. This charger will charge exactly for what your battery is as long as you have the settings correct. Best charge I have ever owned. 2S is how many cells the battery has, and 20C is the discharge capacity of the battery. Here is 2 really good YouTube links that will help you immensely. I highly recommend watching these. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYFHQHQ1aD8 (balance charging) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9hvR7dGAkEo (calibrating your new charger if required)

Where on the screen does it say 2C just so I can know what to change? Is 2C the same thing as the 2S in parenthesis on the bottom right?
SteveM, Comment for image # 2295712 Jun 11 09:45
Generally you want a 1C charge rate which is 1.35A on this battery. You've selected a 2C charge rate which is fine only if the battery supports it.

I actually just charged it and it did beep at the end. I flew the Lancer today and all I can say was it flew so-so. Maybe I'm better off with RC...haha

You've got it set to 7.4V which is right for a 2S, but I think 2.7A is too much current. I normally charge my 2S at 1A. I don't know if that's correct, but it's what I do...

Rhys, I saw a video review where someone said it beeped at the end. I would imagine you would see the Amps go down to near zero as well (as the battery stops accepting current). SteveM probably knows more about that than me though.

Another question for the experts- How do I know when it is fully charged? Does it stop charging automatically?

Question for the experts-Is this the correct settings?

Yeah, you'll notice the batteries won't last as long (keep them warm as long as possible by keeping them warm in the car or in your pocket until you're ready to taxi!). Just make sure it's a calm day, and you'll be fine!

The plastic parts get a bit brittle. Bring extra props. Good luck and have fun! Phil....Oh, and keep the batteries in your pocket until you're ready to fly.

Great news! Got the slow stick to work again! I made a video explaining why (its to hard to explain by just typing it) and when i get it on youtube i'll tell you guys the link. i hope to have it up it the air either saturday or sunday. is it okay for a rc plane to be flying when its 30 degrees outside? don't want to wreck the controls on it! lol

Hmmm... At first guess, I'd say the ESC looks like it's plugged in to the Berg the wrong way around. I think the brown wire should line up with the black mark on the Berg, not the orange wire. The control surfaces should move even without the motor connected, so our biggest problem is not with those motor wires. Also, you put the receiver crystal in the Berg, right? What channel are you using now? Let's get this going!
