I built one of these in 1957. I remember it being a great kit, except no clear canopy parts. Plans had a pattern for canopy so you could use clear cellophane. Paid $.98 for it. Ahh, inflation. I look forward to seeing this one built again. |

I bet you paid $43.00 for this one. I was watching it. Good job DD. There is one of these parked at the Billings Mt. Airport painted in the same scheme as the one flew in the movie Always. |

Lucky man - I would have loved a dark sky site such as this for my back garden when I was into astronomy. I would have got some great views with my home made 6" Dobsonian or my Meade 4" SCT. |
