After dry gently stretch thread to kingpost and tape to a surface, apply white glue, let dry, trim with knife.

My method for installing antennae wire. Punch small hole and insert thread with toothpick, use white glue and let dry, usually i hr.

Hello Poppy, nice. Have you tried "Aircraft" grade birch ply for carving props? 12 layers per 1/4" thickness. makes a nice visual guide to keep em' similar in profile. Carves amazingly well and quickly too (see the me-109 props I did), and those were pretty darned small. Phil.
