Several days ago, we had a minor mishap that took off one of the Stinson's wings. |

Bill Parker, we need to go flying. I called you a while back, but I guess the call got lost on your machine. I'll try again. Today, wednesday, was a great day for flying. |

Okay he lives in Texas. I want you to know, that these birds come from Central America and they are here illegaly, you guys from Texas know what to do. My buddy lives in Newport Bay and is slowly going mad. One match could fix it all in the gigantic nest in his driveway, but the bird lovers across the street have him under surveillance. |

This Green Parakeet thrives in the Rhode Island area. Not just a few, but many thousands. They build a stick apartment ball around six feet in diameter that is home for a few hundred birds. They are noisy, dirty and nobody knows what to do with the invasive species. Where do you live? |

You have lovely clear blue sky in your parts. Not something we see often here. Wet and windy is the usual scenario. |

Richard, our references so far indicate that only the CCCP used the Yak 15, they did not build very many. However the successor to the Yak 15, the Yak 23 Flora was built and used by the Czechs when they were under Russian control.
Flyboyz, the line was only about 12 to 15 feet. It was kinda breezy that day. I didn't crop the picture so much in order to keep the background trees in the image. Sometimes I crop the picture a lot to get a closer view of the airplane in flight. |

Cool! That looks like its on a longer line |

Yes, indeed! Did anyone fly the Yak 15 other than the jolly old CCCP? |

Richard, I'm a little pressed for time to add more markings to the Yak at this time. If I do mark it, I'll mark it in the Czech air police markings, a kinda make believe thing;-) |

A couple of coats of thinned white glue were applied. Some lead shot inserted into the nose. Swing line attached to wing. And we are ready to fly. Slightly breezy today. Test glides with balance weight but no string were OK, but not as good as the Cloud Buster. |

Thank you,Phil, for your comments and interest. No, I have not thought of trying an Autogyro swinger. The Autogyro is beyond my abilities at this point. |

Have you ever thought of trying an Autogyro swinger? I've a nice 3-view of one that actually has fairly large wings as well as the rotor. Phil |
