The B-47 is the 50 cent series. The red and yellow boxes are the 25 cent series. The 3 blue and yellow boxes are the 10 cent series. I got these from eBay, so I will not be building these kits. Instead we've made copies of the plans and diecut wood an will copy these to card stock and use these for cutting patterns. The part count in the kits is not large so working from patterns will not add that much extra effort to the construction. The red and white boxes are profile flying models. Al Al

Our small collection of the DC series.

We've suggested forming a hangar called "Guillows DC series display models" since there are 45 models in the three price ranges.

Hi James, we are still looking for a hangar for these.

Check out the person under the rear. This is a big plane! It's also one of my all time favorite planes.;-)

Three months later we were guiding and directing their nightly bombing missions in Viet Nam.

Nice pictures, Al.

Sorry about the picture quality, David. These are scanned from 35MM slides. Digital cameras had not yet been invented when we took these pictures and our scanner is not exactly top grade. Al

Uh, the dates for Itazuke should be 1962 thru 1963. Al

In late 1963 thru early 1964 we worked on similarly painted huns at Itazuke AB, except the tail markings were different. Unfortunately, we were not able to photograph any at the time. Enjoy, David. Al

ps: A Comet design of the 1930's, scratchbuilt from a plan.

Our next scale model was this 'nickel scale' Ryan. Modified with sheetwood tail and fuselage sides. Wingspan about 10 inches.

Upon our return to building Stick&Tissue, our first model was this 10 cent Comet Stinson 108 scratch built from a plan. Our first kit built S&T as a youngster in 1951 was one of these.
