| David, I love this painting - the colours and contrast are wonderful. The shadows under the eves are a puzzle to me?

| Nice DD! This was the first model I built that got me back into balsa. I didnt do infile though. http://www.virtualaerodrome.com/image_browser.html?p_aircraft_id=201&p_user_id=1412. I like the WestWings kits. Good size, good quality of wood and straight forward to build. |

| That is definitely true. I remember seeing a Spitfire and thinking it was the size of a sports car (the P-80 had the same feel). I've seen a couple of Sea Furys at the air races at Williams Gateway Airport. They were monsters. Especially the props. |

The Brits. They aren't the same scale. In reality the Sea Fury was a bigger plane. |
