Man that looks sharp as heck John...I also love the exhausts you've got on her! |

Wires in the MGs barrels insure that the pilot does not shoot the engine apart in combat! |

Those of you who have built a version of this engine can appreciate the joy I experienced today....thank God its over! |

They must have spent a great deal of time slipping the plane left and right to see forward. Also the MG discharge comes close to the intake and exhaust manifolds. Exhaust tomorrow's task. |

Excellent job John. What did you use for the cone at the end of the barrel? |
Barnstormer, Comment for image # 9961 | 24 Nov 08 20:30 |
Sweet job John, I think the pilot just had to lean one side or the other. Maybe depended on weather he was left or right handed. |

THe D II guns had chutes or shrouds for the ammo feed and cartidge discharge. Made building them easier. Thaks Barnstromer, how did I do? |

Pilots complained about the forward visibilty....I wonder why? |

Barney...No time to waste. Nest week is bambi season in the hills of PA. Just formed the second jacket and pulled reference photos off the computer. Later this evening they should be done. |

You are very welcome John, looks like you are wasting no time. |

A BIG "tanks" to Barnstormer for the very excellent Spandau MG cooling lacket material. I was contemplating cutting some by hand but this will be much easier. |
