Ahoy Mr. Wilson one place here in the USA where you can purchased them. Try the www.papermodelstore.com or www.papermodlers.com they have free downloads that will get you started if you have a printer friendly you can print them out. My Lancaster came from Poland I have a good friend that gets them for me. paper models were very common many years ago here in the US. But with the event of plastic and balsa they faded away and they still are the main stay in Europe. Boats |

Ahoy Mr. Wilson The model is made completely out of paper its a card model. Built pretty much as that of the balsa models presented here on the forum. A little difficult then balsawood kits. With balsawood if you make a mistake it can be repaired with no fuss, but one slip with the No.11 blade your work is ruined. So its laways good to scan the kit before you start for extra parts in case a mistake is made in this kit I didn,t scan the kit.The rivit effect is the printing of the paper. Boats |

Look great. Nice details. Is it skinned with paper? did you use a pounce ( I think it`s called ) wheel on the backside of the paper to get the rivet effect? |

Luke thanks sir for your reply on card models you have to prefabricate your own clear parts I already have the glazeings done on the nose turret so it is next to install, The best way to make your canopies is to use c;ear packing tape double sided but first you have to remove the windows and leave the frame on, or sometimes you have to vacuform your clear glazeings, boats |

Boats, this is like looking at the real thing. I sorta promised someone that the kit locker was topped off, but I have the link to that web site. I need to get one of these kits delivered when she isn't home. Right now I have some kits under the couch, under the bed, in a storage locker. I actually do not know how many there are, but I want to look at one of these. Do the canopies come with the kit, or do you fabricate them yourself? |
