Ahoy Jerry
Thanks for the reply on my Dambuster, I usually dont speak much about kits But I generally stay away from easy built kits I bought this one and the Lockheed Hudson and a few others they are junk the kits themselves are manufactured like the kits in the 1940,s they leave a lot to desire. It takes a lot of doctoring to get them up to snuff. I bought My Lanc and the others in 1986 when thye were first introduced here in Ohio The wright Patterson Airforce Base has a hobby shop and novelty vender there I stumbled on them when the shop had piles of them stocked from the deck to the foretop. Cheap too.Not certain how they are now they might be upgraded but my Lanc was a bear of a kit. Ok Jerry for some great plans everyone will agree for the Messerschmitt 109 go to www.clevelandmodelsupply.com Cleveland models plans at their best try them out the plans are very cheap they offer different sizes or scales 1/24 scale is there too. give them a try you will be a happy camper. Great looking build. I've looked at some of the Easy Built subjects but question the quality and ease of building. How are they in the quality, and what is the ease of building. By the way I'm looking for plans to scratch-build a Messerscmitt Bf 110E or G in 1/24th scale, know of any? |

Thanks Fellas, this was a hard kit to modify from the kit the kit had a a bomb bay, I removed the bomb bay and faired it in with balsa block stock I made the Barns wallace bounceing bomb from a thread spool added the vanes to the cylinder installed a scale forn motor inside the ship that rotated the bomb .This wing commanders Guy Penrose Gibsons plane G for George plane covered in cardstock cutted out the fuselage windows placed acetate in the inside and painted them black with the fuselage.Boats |
