I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Sorry its been awhile since Ive been able to get on VA. Got the Zep aligned straight and true. All sanded and waiting to be sealed before covering. Just enlisted in the Army National Guard last week and ship out in the beginning of May for basic training so I guess I've got a deadline! :P

Hmm, not a bad idea at all Stirling...much thanks!

Assuming that the middle formers,(join), are the same size, might I suggest a broom handle or metal rod up the guts from end to end. You might need to fashion a sleeve or something for the larger end to make sure the rod is dead centre.

I have heard that in England, "bent" has a slightly different connotation. My bad! ;-)

Thanks for the compliments gents. Any suggestions on how I might go about making sure the two halves are correctly aligned? The last thing I need is a bent blimp!

Beautiful, neat work.

Quite a structure....give that man a cigar!

Got the rear half done and had to test fit the halves together just to see. Without nose or tail cones the Zep is roughly twice as long as a Guillow's 400-series Mustang!

Are you sure you were not near Pittsburgh? :o)

No, not yet anyhow...working on it though! Believe it or not I'm a newspaper photographer...hard to tell from my crummy project photos huh? haha!

Cool! Are you a pilot?

Since everyone was showing off their beautiful sunset photos I thought I'd submit this one I took today. It's a perfect example of a stunning northern-Ohio sunset in the winter. ;)

Couldn't tell what that was behind the "Sig"(?) Dope/ Thinner and is that a Stirling kit under the Guillows 500 on top of the Vintage something atop another Guillows? Hey, can you you tell I've got kids in the house? I'm playing their games now!

HAHA! good eye pfinn! If you look even harder there's also a Superfortress hidden in there somewhere! Ahh, the magic of digital photography.

Actually, if you stare at it long enough you might see the 3D schooner hidden in the picture. :P
