I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

He thinks I don't know that he's giving me the "Evil Eye". I told him if he didn't stay still for the picture I'd just have to pin it on!

Since it flew nicely at the indoor thing, it's time for some pilotage. Roughed out of EPP.

One of these days I'll figure out how to insert one of those "Here" buttons to link direct to the videos. I tried today but inexorably failed, Oh well.

Here's a video from last nights indoor flying meet. http://www.youtube.com/user/pfinnfp#p/a/u/0/ebTpjQX_rEA Jimmy is still a bit apprehensive flying this indoors (I don't know why, maybe it's the brick walls). He flew the "High Milage "Ember" with the orange tail that I'm harrassing. I'm using an E-flite 150 Mah 1s 12c battery pack. Flew for the allotted 15 min. and landed with juice to spare.

I like this sooo much that I think I want to build one. I wonder if someone makes a kit?

This was an AMA trade show held in Ontario CA. As I said, the aircraft scene was 95% ARF. Dismal. But the Tank/Armored vehicle and Boat/Submarine enthusiasts were just astounding. Could spend hours just gandering within their small areas. They brought their own "Porta-Pond"!

where was that held? Muncie?

What a beauty.

Ahhh... but the swap meet was pretty good. Purchased these two. Da Hooody-Hooody. Top one is Swedish.

So was this. The show was full of foam ARFs. Pretty depressing.

Took the kids to the AMA model show today. This was nice.

Mount assy. The blue is heat shrink tubing. For trimming just press fit into plastic motor mount (gray). glue it after correct downthrust is achieved. Why heat shrink tubing? If removal is needed, it's easier to cut the the HS tube, remove the rod, then extract the tubing. The mounting screws also hold the LG.

Motor mount sticks. 1/16" sq. carbon with a spring weak link. The right one was .022" and "just" to weak. The .030" works great...also great for shoving tiny carbon slivers into your fingertips. Doh!

Here's the "Simple, Stupid" dual rudder linkage. Made a small "Staple" with a loop and two opposite 90 deg. "Z" bends on the con. rod ends. I used overstreched guitar string for the wire. Adds more "Springy" because of the work hardening.

Sorry, not the original. I was just playing around with Irfanview with some images...and this came out. The original is quite "Plain Jane".

Very nice! Did you create this piece?
