Since both R & L sides pulled down about the same, it's got to do with the difference in the top and bottom tissue. Looks like the bottom shrank more than the top. Grain direction different? Difference in tightness as you covered? It's been a long time since I used tissue. You need somebody who builds fliers to chime in.

i'm using tissue don, the balsa leading and trailing edges are 1/16" while cross braces are 1/8". the stabilizer is one piece which slides through the rear of the fuselage.

sometimes I have trouble with my stabilizers getting warped when I dope them, could it be that the balsa thickness is too thin? brian.
