John, to be more specific, it was a boombox type radio that I got the the speaker mesh from.

John, I ended up using a speaker grill off of an old radio that was sitting in my workshop. It was thin metal and fairly easy to work with.

Ammo...I used thin Al tubing for cases with straight pin points for bullets ...paint every third red for tracers.

Sooooo, much better than the Guillows "Dukie" plastic guns!

Now I see where did you get the perforated mesh???
John M Oshust, Comment for image # 480924 Oct 07 19:29
Super...what did you finally use?????
Barnstormer, Image # 480924 Oct 07 19:23

Maybe I should fabricate some ammo and give it a test fire.

Now to finish the other one.

My version of the Spandau Machine Gun. Not 100% accurate in detail, but I think it will do for this build.

AC Moore with perforated sheets!

Suggestions..drill out a plastic straw or Al tube the right diameter. Try a craft shop like SC Moore... they have referated sheets with different diamter holes/colors.
