John, I ended up using a speaker grill off of an old radio that was sitting in my workshop. It was thin metal and fairly easy to work with. |

Ammo...I used thin Al tubing for cases with straight pin points for bullets ...paint every third red for tracers. |

My version of the Spandau Machine Gun. Not 100% accurate in detail, but I think it will do for this build. |

Suggestions..drill out a plastic straw or Al tube the right diameter. Try a craft shop like SC Moore... they have referated sheets with different diamter holes/colors. |
