Cutting the Hurricane print wood only took a couple of hours.

The knife shaped like a mini windshiel scraper was purchased from a local Dallas hardware and is especially useful for cutting notches.

I would suggest that before you start cutting put all new sharp blades in all knives to be used.

To help to keep the notches from breaking off during cutting out I applied a coat of dope to the print wood. It seemed to help.

After seeing a documentary on the Polish Air Force during the Battle of Britain I ordered a set of 1/24th scale decals from Hannants. The Techmod Decals have markings for two 303 Squadron aircraft.

Each kit contains a full set of well done building plans that also features scale drawings and directions, plenty of strip stock, print wood that must be cut out, slide decals, plastic spinner and wheels, prop, tissue, and a clear vac canopy.

The Westwings' Wing Leader series are 1/24th scale and are excellent quality.
