I used Mod Podge for the gloss and solder for the hinge. Switches are wire and solder. |

Used balsa for engine block and the plastic cylinders from kit. Used a Testors clear flat spray and it looks much better. Washer is press fit onan aluminum tube to hold prop. Yes it spins. |

Decided to make storage compartment door work. I'm not a fan of cardstock, so most peices were replaced with balsa. |

decided to try hooking ailerons together with miniature belcranks. They do go in opposite directions, but not that well. |

Started this last winter (2012-13) and am now painting, finally. I bought a set of Cleveland plans for more scale detail. Note extra ribs in wings and tail surfaces. |
