Fitting out the fuselage working on the engine details everything is out of the kit no scratch only modification is the turle top is removable to acess the electronics ne3xt I will install the electronics |

Covering and finishing up the fuselage the top of the fuselage iu made removable for battery servo and electronic excess. |

Ahoy Briand I got the electronics package yesterday there is a chart at the hobby shop showing the engine aquivelent from glow to electric. the model is designed to fly U controll on a 0.49 I got a Brushless EPU 250 motor with speed control and two S-60 mini servos. along with reciever the reciever is about 2 inch,s long and the speed controll board is about an inch long it will fit perfectly in my Jenny.boats |

how do you know what size electronics to use boats. i can get an idea with certain motors for certain weights, but i can't figure most of it out? brian? |

Got the fuselage and tail featherss done need tro be sanded and pre doped. then I will fit out the electyronics . |

Ahoy Thanks Dale and Briand I had no idea comet made this version of their new optional series in this scale. I must have missed this. Looking forward Dale for your pictures I should have a update post this evening I have the fuselage sonstructed need to build in compartments for the receiver and speed controll along where the servos will be installed I have a pretty good Idea where to have all of the eletronic installed. I just recently started a Curtis "Jenny" project of my own. I posted a picture of my Comet kit today, which is a 24" wingspan. My son found the kit at a swap meet in California for a $1 and gave it to me for Fathers Day! I should have some additional build pictures ready to upload within a month. I'm going to attempt to make some wire spoke wheels and do some additional detailing on the kit. |
