Nearly ready for decals, and i need to make a spinner. The plan was to modify one, but i just realised it was too pointy to use |

The ending of the green paint took many tries to mask and get usable results |

An update on the restoration of the Ripmax bf 109. cowling has been sanded/engine holes rounded and shapes fixed. And then repainted in the blue/gray paint. Camoflage has been repainted and when all done i got the bad idea of painting it white instead |

Thank you both for the Nice words. 308 would be a bit off scale on this one :) not going to go all in on the details, but some detail is planned. |

Coming along nicely. Is the picture a hint of what armament it will carry? |

Beautiful job Anders. Looks great. The lines are crisp and sharp. Not an easy thing, at the risk of lifting the previous paint with the masking tape. Hats off to you, sir. |

The reference in the background is the colour suggestion for an Airfix 1/72 E-3. Used for camuflage pattern and colour codes. But the white rudder is not correct, i did that to make the tail stand out from the surrondings ( great for flying!) and i found the usual yellow to be a bit common. Not sure where im headed with the rest of the marking, might just mix it up and put the numbers and unit markings i like on it. Also going to try some A4 water slide paper i got from eBay, not sure how well those work.... As for the canopy the main issue is removal of old paint without ruining it... |

By the way, I did see some references in the background on your previous postings, but nothing was mentioned about any particular aircraft. Hence, my asking if your're going to customize the model to any special aircraft. |

Thank you for replying to my observation. Just a small suggestion: Try painting the remaining canopy frame work with the paint you used for the top portion of the fuselage. That way, you don't have to worry about matching colors and your paint is already flat, as opposed to glossy. Don't know about this particular ARF, have they supplied you with decals or stick-ons? Or are you customizing the model to a special aircraft? Just curious. Your talent for this model certainly has my attention. It's great! |

Spot on, thats the factory paint from the ARF standard. Not happy about the glossy nature of the paint, and the masking was a bit off. The bits missing are the places i could remove it with my fingers. Scratching my head right now as how to remove the rest.... |
