Cool! I'm up at Reno right now. Crewing for Red Squirrel Racing, race 23. |

The fuse is looking really good! Interesting solution turning the cowling and the canopy 180 degrees to duplicate the customization on the real aircraft! |

Weekend work - First coat of primer/filler on the fuselage. Wings clipped, sheeted, and fit. The cowl was a little difficult to flip 180 and blend into the fuselage, but I think I got her whipped. Had to extend it out about 3/8” for the contours to re-align. |

Contra-rotating props? Is it a racing Mustang? By the way, very nice job on the sheeting. |

Once at this stage, do i need to clear coat prior to sandable primer? Or, can i run straight with the primer? If coating, what is your favorite, dope? Krylon? Thanks, Clif |

got lucky and found some contra-rotating props that are close to scale. Off of amazon for a quad-copter. |

Hi Brian, Thanks
I'm using the best of both worlds for a hybrid. I had a bunch of 1/4 left over so i stacked them up into blocks. I thought the scoop might be a lot easier to carve and sand to shape then trying to sheet. I also doubled stringers on the rear section where the curve is severe. Learning lots of new tricks and what not to do for the next one... |
